Proposed Instructional Calendars for 2015-2016 and 2016-2017
The Curriculum Committee will review the proposed instructional calendars for the next two academic years. Several scenarios have been reviewed thus far and the proposed one presented here has been reviewed by the deans, department chairs, and others. Some of the factors considered are the total number of faculty days/yr, student contact time per quarter, and the fact that many student enroll in Winter quarter after the quarter begins. If you would like to see two other scenarios studied thus far, please email Ted Williams at twilliams @ nwic.edu to receive a copy. Following Curriculum Committee review and input on Nov. 13, the instructional calendars will be forwarded to the Administrative Team for review, and then to the Board of Trustees for approval.
