PdF2009 &#8211; The Machine is (Changing) Us<\/h3>\n<p>This presentation really is a must see.\u00a0 Not only does Professor Wesch artfully weave together ideas from Huxley, Postman and McCluhan alongside quotes from Kartman and Bart Simpson (how many professors could pull that off), he makes some important statements about the impacts of media on youth culture and explores how participatory media might possibly change things.<\/p>\n<span class=\"vvqbox vvqyoutube\" style=\"width:425px;height:344px;\"><span id=\"vvq-41-youtube-1\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=X6eMdMZezAQ\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/X6eMdMZezAQ\/0.jpg\" alt=\"YouTube Preview Image\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<h3>danah boyd &#8211;
