Near the end of the 2010 United Nations International Year of Biodiversity, the Missouri Botanical Garden (MBG) and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) announced the completion of The Plant List. This is a working list of all land plant species and was developed in relation to the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation. Additional details may be viewed here.
