The deadline to receive P&O and Science Bowl Registration forms is April 1st, 2011.\u00a0 The maximum number of Science Bowl teams is 18.\u00a0 I have attached the registration forms for your convenience.\u00a0 All forms are available on the Sitting Bull website @ http:\/\/aihec.sittingbull.edu<\/a> or AMP’s website at http:\/\/anamp.org<\/a> (the new forms are not yet on our website, but will be available soon – we currently have last years forms)<\/p>\n

Good afternoon everyone!<\/p>\n

The A<\/strong>ll N<\/strong>ations L<\/strong>ouis S<\/strong>tokes A<\/strong>lliance for M<\/strong>inority P<\/strong>articipation (ANLSAMP<\/strong>) has been conducting the AIHEC Poster & Oral Research Presentations and the Science Bowl Competition since 1996.\u00a0 We sincerely appreciate the students and teams, their coaches and all participants who have offered suggestions and advice over the years.\u00a0 This support has allowed us to develop long-standing competitions for students while giving us the opportunity to evolve.\u00a0\u00a0 We believe our longevity in this endeavor is due to participating schools that are willing to prepare and meet each year in spirited competition. We look forward to seeing you this year.<\/p>\n

The goals of the competitions are to encourage undergraduate research, provide a forum for students to interact with faculty & peers, and to bolster students\u2019 skills as scientists and communicators.\u00a0 Prizes will be given for 1st through 3rd places.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate students are invited to present a Poster and\/or an Oral Research presentation of their scientific research and\/or participate in the Science Bowl competitions @ the Bismarck Civic Center<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Poster competition will be on Sunday, April 17th<\/sup> in the Lobby outside the Birch, Cottonwood & Linden rooms, <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oral competition will take place on Monday, April 18th<\/sup> in the Maple room.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Science Bowl will begin on April 17th<\/sup> in the Birch, Cottonwood & Linden rooms and possibly April 18th<\/sup> in the Birch & Cottonwood rooms<\/strong> <\/sub>(Sunday, and Monday).<\/p>\n

\u00d8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All competition will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. in the Bismarck Civic Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Poster\/Oral entries must include an abstract. See additional Poster\/Oral requirements on the 2011<\/strong> Undergrad Poster & Oral Suggested Guidelines & Registration form<\/strong>.\u00a0 If you wish to participate in the Science Bowl see the requirements in the 2011 Science Bowl Rules-Registration form.\u00a0 Entry deadline for registration and abstracts is April 1st<\/sup>, 2011.<\/strong> Late entries and entries without abstracts will not be accepted.<\/p>\n
