Support systems for students at Northwest Indian College are informed by the Family Education Model. The Family Education Model replicates within the college culture the extended family structure often found within Native communities.
Relationship building and fostering a tight knit community of are hallmarks of our approach to working with students. The Center for Student Success at Northwest Indian College, building 17 on the Lummi campus provides essential support services and auxilary services for students, including financial resources, placement testing, academic advising, student activities, and athletics. Students studying at extended sites may access support services through their Site Managers.
