Learning Online @ NWICHelp for using Moodle in your class

There are three different types of assignments that you will see:

1. Upload a Single File – In this type of assignment you will upload a file into the assignment submission box, similar to sending an attachment in an e-mail.
2. Online Text – In this type of assignment, you will type the text in directly online.
3. Other Activity – In this type of assignment your instructor will give you specific directions for how to turn it in.

Upload a Single File

To upload your file, click on the assignment and then locate the submission box at the bottom of the page.  You need to write your assignment in a Word document (or whatever type of document is called for), save it to your computer and then upload it. To upload your assignment:

1. Click on the browse button next to the submission box
2. Locate the file
3. Click Open
4. Click Upload this File

Online Text

To turn in an Online Text assignment:

1. Click on Edit My Submission
2. Write your response in the text box
3. Click Save changes
